That’s a wrap on my first semi-solo gallery in Long Beach, NY! Fine Art by Nature was exhibited from February to March at the West End Long Beach Public Library, 903 West Beech Street, Long Beach, NY 11561. The Library also featured a ceramic art display by Barrie Gross and Anne Halligan-Luca.
This series is a collection of photographs depicting the abstract rhythm of nature’s constant movement, and serene stillness. These are the often unnoticed moments that stop me in my tracks. Nature is the artist, and I am the observer.
After a very long, cold, chaotic, exhausting, and challenging start to 2025, I was so proud and ready to present this new chapter in my photography journey. I’ll always be grateful to West End Arts for pushing me to start sharing more of my work in public, and the West End Library for giving this show a cozy home.
The reception was beautiful, quaint, and humbling. Although I went in with no expectations, the evening was somehow everything I needed it to be. It was the first time my friends and family got the chance to see a cohesive wall full of my carefully curated photographs, each with a significant meaning to me, in a space where I could intimately share their backstories to anyone that asked.

After being put on the spot to make a speech (my worst nightmare), I spoke from my overwhelmed heart and jumped on the opportunity to embarrass my friend and 4th grade teacher, Jenn, with a special shoutout. She was my “soulmate” teacher who saw the artist in me as a kid, and gently taught me new ways to harness my creativity. 30+ years later, Jenn continues to inspire me with her talents, love, and never ending support. I was so lucky to have her there with me in that moment – for my both present-me and child-me – and I’ll never forget it.
Thank you @westendarts and @lbpl_ny for this opportunity, and to my new and old friends who have stuck with me. Let’s continue to spread joy and peace through art. 🙏🏻✌🏻
