It’s 3:45 pm on a perfect almost-fall afternoon. After taking some fun-filled photos with Doogie the adorable pup, we headed over to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Dress ✔, extra outfits ✔, pinterest folder ✔, cameras ✔, lenses ✔. Then we arrive to hear the dreaded words “Just to let you know, the park closes at 5.” Less than an hour to do an entire engagement shoot!? Psh. Challenge accepted! We managed to get in 2 outfit changes, around 5 different locations in the park, and only got told to leave twice. It’s always fun to be a little rebellious, as long as you’re polite about it. Jess and Ryan were such naturals, and we had an absolute blast!
What a stud!! This guy has a serious modeling career ahead of him.
My absolute favorites of the whole day…
It’s not a real photo shoot without a little dance party in the middle.
Between the sunshine and the sunflowers, these moments of cuteness could not have been more perfect.
We caught some adorable puppy love action along the way
Ryan officially mastered the art of making a heart with his hands.
And finally it was time for Ryan’s glamour shots
Balancing rings on leaves takes SKILL!
After we had wrapped up for the day and started heading out, this little fox came over and actually wanted to hang out with us. I think I got a LITTLE too excited about this, because I had never seen one get so close before. We played hide and seek for about 5 minutes before he vanished into the garden. I REALLY wanted to take him home with me. What an awesome ending to an awesome day!
