It’s been such a pleasure getting to know these beautiful, kind, talented, and giving people. I met Mo back in the summer when he signed on as a client at my full time job for a website design. Just a few weeks into the project, I got an update from Mo saying “sorry for the delay, I got engaged this weekend!” How exciting!! I didn’t even know at the time who the lucky lady was.It was such an inspiring experience working with someone so driven and enthusiastic not just about their career, but for their contributions to the community as well. I finally got to meet Elisa while taking photos at the Long Beach Film Festival , shortly after she had finished interviewing Joan Jett. Elisa is a super talented Features Reporter & Entertainment News Anchor. Basically, she gets to share her contagious personality with the world, usually while chatting with super cool celebrities! I had seen her on TV plenty of times, but after watching her reel at work I knew I loved everything about her.I was so excited to find out that I would be working on Elisa’s new website at work as well. (which just so happens to be her engagement blog!) Not too long after the meeting, I talked to Mo about possibly doing engagement photos for them, expecting them to already have it covered.
Then came the highlight of my week – “We’d love to have you do some engagement pics!”
We did the photo shoLookoutin Point Look out on one of the most gorgeous days in September. It was actually one of the most perfect days. Mo and Elisa both looked incredible, and there really was no posing involved. They were silly, fun, and 100% adorable.
I can’t even begin to talk about how great these dogs are…
I love how they hold their own leashes! Apparently it’s a Lab / Retriever thing..
“Don’t worry I’m just going to half-bury your brand new sparkling engagement ring in the sand here..”
